Colorado Cannabis Athletes go Coast to Coast

September 1st, 2018

My wife Heather and I just returned to our home in Colorado from Miami, Florida this week. We were speaking at the U.S. Cannabis Conference and Expo about epilepsy, and the benefits of cannabis for fitness. We’ve had the opportunity to speak several times in Colorado this year, but this was our first time educating on the East Coast! Cannafitness

If you didn’t already know, I’m a cannabis athlete. What does that mean? I am a trail runner, based in Colorado. I use cannabis for epilepsy and my overall health and wellness. Using cannabis before and after physical exercise is extremely beneficial. When I consume before a workout, I’m able to complete the exercise with less pain and more focus, for longer durations. CannaFitness is cannabis and fitness combined. I run with my husband,... Read More

These routines are that of a cannabis athlete, and the miles cannabis athletes put in could be called cannabis miles. MJFITNUT has committed to donate their cannabis miles to charity, and you... Read More

CannaFitness: CBD Benefits

January 13th, 2018

Athletes train and fuel their bodies to operate at optimal levels in their sport. CBD is the non psychoactive compound found in cannabis. It is a non toxic, natural option that provides multiple mental and physical benefits. The recent announcement by the WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) to remove CBD from the banned substance list in 2018 provides a safer option to many athletes. With athletes and individuals allowed to consume CBD legally in all 50 states, it is diminishing the stigma surrounding cannabis and its users. It has the potential to provide a better quality of life when provided as... Read More
